Freelancing can be a lonely business.
We started FU as a WhatsApp group during lockdown — a way for creatives to not go it alone. Turns out, not much has changed. The work’s still unpredictable. The industry still isolating. So we kept building.
What started as a chat is now something closer to a digital town — part job centre, part shop, part rental house, part film club. A few hundred creatives, sharing work, solving problems, and backing each other.
We’re still based on WhatsApp (for now), which means space is limited. So we ask people to apply.
